Privacy Policy — Daily Routine Check
Effective date: New Update 11 June 2026
1. Introduction
Thanks for using Daily Routine Check. This policy explains, in plain language, what information the app works with and how we handle it. The short version: everything you enter stays on your phone, we don't sell or share it, and there's no account or server involved. By using the app, you're agreeing to what's described below.
2. What the App Stores
To do its job, Daily Routine Check keeps track of things you enter yourself — nothing more, nothing less:
- Basic profile details: your name, school name, class, and country
- Your class and tuition routines
- Calendar tasks and to-do items
- Study alarms and reminder times
- Any notes you jot down for yourself
You type all of this in voluntarily, and it's only ever used to show it back to you inside the app.
3. How We Use It
Everything stored in the app exists for one reason: to help you plan your day. That means:
- Showing your routines, schedules, tasks, and notes when you open the app
- Sending you class reminders and study alarms at the times you've set
- Making the app feel personal, based on the profile info you've added
That's it. Nothing here is used for advertising, tracking, or building a profile of you for any other purpose.
4. Where Your Data Lives
All of it stays right there on your device, in local storage. There's no cloud database, no account system, no external server pulling your information anywhere. Unless you personally choose to share or export something, your data simply doesn't leave your phone.
5. Fee, Expense & Focus Feature Data
The features added in version 1.0.6 — the Fee & Expense Tracker, Lend & Borrow, custom holidays, Focus Timer, and streaks/badges — all follow the same rule: everything stays local.
Specifically, that includes:
- Your tuition fee plans and the payments you log (amount, date, and which month it covers)
- Expense entries (amount, category, date, optional notes) and any monthly budget you set
- Lend & Borrow records — who you lent to or borrowed from, the amount, date, notes, and whether it's settled
- Custom holidays you add to the School Calendar
- Focus Timer settings and your session history
- Streaks, badges, and weekly progress stats
Worth being clear about: the Fee & Expense Tracker and Lend & Borrow Tracker don't move any real money or process payments. They're just a personal, offline record of what you've already paid, spent, lent, or borrowed — nothing is transmitted anywhere.
6. When You Choose to Share Something
A few features let you share a summary — for instance, sending a Lend & Borrow entry to someone. When you tap Share, the app simply hands that text over to your phone's normal share menu, and you decide where it goes. We're not involved in that step at all; it only happens when you initiate it.
7. Update Notifications
Every once in a while, the app might notify you that a new version or feature is available on the Play Store. These are purely informational — no tracking, no ads, and you can dismiss them anytime. Your actual reminders and alarms keep working offline exactly as before.
8. Notification & Alarm Permissions
The app asks for notification and exact-alarm permissions for one reason: to deliver your class reminders, study alarms, month-end fee reminders, and Focus Timer alerts on time. That's the only thing these permissions are used for — never for promotions, ads, or tracking. You're free to turn them off anytime in your device settings.
9. Sharing With Third Parties
We don't sell, rent, or hand your information to anyone. Your routines, tasks, notes, and reminders stay on your device. The only way anything leaves is if you send a support email or manually share something yourself.
10. Contacting Support
When you use "Contact Support" or "Email Privacy Support," the app opens your email app with a message already addressed to support.purohitmoshai@gmail.com. That email goes out through your own mail provider, so their privacy policy applies to it from there. We only use these messages to answer your questions — nothing else.
11. Keeping or Deleting Your Data
Your data sticks around for as long as you're using the app. You can delete individual routines, tasks, alarms, or notes anytime. If you want everything gone at once, clear the app's storage in your phone settings, or just uninstall it — though keep in mind that uninstalling permanently erases everything, with no way to get it back.
12. A Note on Children's Privacy
Daily Routine Check is built with students in mind and is suitable for all ages. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13 without a parent or guardian's consent, in line with COPPA. If you're a parent and think your child has entered something sensitive, you can delete it directly in the app or clear the app's data from your device settings.
13. Keeping Your Data Secure
Since everything lives on your device, its safety really comes down to how secure your phone is. We'd recommend locking it with a PIN, password, pattern, or biometrics. If your device is lost, stolen, or left unlocked, we can't be responsible for anyone accessing what's stored there.
14. Your Rights
You're always in control here. At any point, you can:
- See everything you've entered into the app
- Edit or update your profile and routines
- Delete individual entries or wipe everything at once
- Uninstall the app to remove all data permanently
If you have any concerns about how your data is handled, reach out using the contact details below.
15. Changes to This Policy
If we update this policy — whether because of new features or legal requirements — the revised version will be available in the app and on the Play Store listing. Continuing to use the app after an update means you're okay with the changes. It's a good idea to check back here occasionally.
