This Privacy Policy describes how "Arts Cal" ("the App," "we," "us," or "our"), developed by Purohit Moshai, handles information when you use our mobile application. Arts Cal is an educational calculator application designed for Arts and Humanities students.

By downloading, installing, or using Arts Cal, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy.

1. Information We Do NOT Collect

Arts Cal is designed to work fully offline and does not require account creation, login, or sign-up of any kind. We do not collect, store, or transmit your name, email address, phone number, precise location, photos, contacts, files, or any other personally identifiable information (PII) through app functionality. All calculator inputs (marks, dates, data values, etc.) that you enter are processed locally on your device only and are never sent to us or to any external server.

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

To provide core app functionality, Arts Cal stores the following data locally on your device only: your selected language preference, theme preference, calculation history, favorite/starred calculators, and grading-scale/era-display preferences. This data stays on your device, is never transmitted to us, and can be cleared anytime from the App's History/Settings screen or by clearing app data/uninstalling.

3. Advertising (Google AdMob)

Arts Cal is a free app supported by advertisements served through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google LLC. To deliver ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect data such as Advertising ID, IP address, approximate location, device information, and ad interaction data. This is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's own privacy policy — not by us directly.

You can opt out of personalized ads or reset your Advertising ID via: Settings → Google → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalization / Reset advertising ID.

4. Children's Privacy

Arts Cal is intended for a general audience, including students who may be under 13 in some regions. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from any user, as the App requires no registration and functions offline for its core features. Where required by law (COPPA/Google Play Families Policy), ads are configured for general/mixed-audience treatment via AdMob's settings. Parents/guardians with concerns can contact us below.

Depending on your region, you may have rights over data collected by third-party services like Google AdMob, including access, correction, deletion, or opt-out of data sale/sharing. Such requests should be directed to Google, or you may contact us for assistance.
