Stat Cal ("the App") is developed and published by Purohit Moshai ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains what information the App collects, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information. By using Stat Cal, you agree to the terms described below.

1. INFORMATION WE DO NOT COLLECT

Stat Cal does not require you to create an account, sign in, or provide any personal information to use the App. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, location, or any personally identifiable information through the App's core functionality.

2. DATA YOU ENTER INTO THE APP

All numeric data, datasets, calculation results, and calculation history you create inside Stat Cal are stored locally on your device only, using on-device storage (Hive). This data:

- Is never transmitted to Purohit Moshai, to any server we operate, or to any third party.

- Remains fully under your control at all times.

- Is permanently deleted when you clear it in-app (Settings → Clear Calculation History, or deleting a dataset), or when you uninstall the App.

3. ADVERTISING (GOOGLE ADMOB)

Stat Cal is an ad-supported app. When advertising is active in the App, we use Google AdMob to display ads. Google AdMob may automatically collect certain technical information to serve and measure ads, which can include:

- Device identifiers (such as the Google Advertising ID)

- IP address and general (non-precise) location derived from it

- Device type, operating system version, and app usage data related to ad interactions

This information is collected and processed by Google in accordance with Google's own Privacy Policy (https://policies.google.com/privacy) and Google AdMob's policies. We do not have access to, and do not separately store, the raw data Google collects for ad-serving purposes. Ads are never placed over interactive input fields or calculation results, and no ad is shown before the App has finished loading.

You can opt out of personalized advertising through your device's ad settings (Android Settings → Google → Ads → "Opt out of Ads Personalization").

4. PERMISSIONS USED

Stat Cal requests only the minimum device permissions necessary:

- Internet access — required solely to load advertisements (Section 3) and is not used to transmit your calculation data anywhere.

No camera, microphone, contacts, location, storage-beyond-app-sandbox, or other sensitive permissions are requested.

5. CHILDREN'S PRIVACY

Stat Cal is a general-audience educational tool and is not directed at children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your jurisdiction). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided personal information through the App, please contact us using the details in Section 9 so we can address it.

6. YOUR RIGHTS (GDPR, CCPA, AND INDIA DPDP ACT 2023)

Because Stat Cal does not collect or store personal data on our own servers, most data-access, correction, and deletion rights are already fully in your control on-device (Section 2). Where applicable law (such as the EU General Data Protection Regulation, the California Consumer Privacy Act, or India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023) grants you additional rights regarding data processed by third-party services like Google AdMob, you may exercise those rights directly with Google, or contact us and we will assist where we are able to.

7. DATA SECURITY

On-device data is stored within the App's private sandboxed storage, which is not accessible to other apps without root/jailbreak access. We recommend keeping your device's operating system updated for the best security.

8. CHANGES TO THIS POLICY

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in the App's functionality or legal requirements. The "Last updated" date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
